Disney's Fort Wilderness Homes
Nestled in a serene forest, in the heart of all the Walt Disney WorldÒ Resort magic, Wilderness Homes offer every comfort and convenience for a carefree vacation. There’s a fully equipped kitchen, full bathroom, air conditioning, daily housekeeping, TV and an outdoor picnic table and grill. With dining seating for four and room for six to sleep, these spacious dwellings have become family favorites. The subtle country touches of the Wilderness Homes are continual reminders of the tranquil woodlands beckoning outside your door.
Disney's Fort Wilderness Cabins
Wilderness Cabins, the newest woodland dwellings in the heart of all the Walt Disney WorldÒ Resort magic, offer a quaint rustic vacation escape. These cozy six-person cabins are reminiscent of the log homes from pioneer days past, but with that special Disney touch. The interiors, sprinkled with richly-colored wilderness accents, offer a fully-equipped kitchen, full bathroom, air conditioning, daily housekeeping, two TVs, VCR, extra storage, dining room seating for six, plus an outdoor picnic table and grill. With vaulted ceilings and exposed beams, staying in a Wilderness Cabin is like having a little lodge just for your family. Attached to each cabin, out under the lush pine canopy, is a private deck for dining, playing, or simply savoring Mother Nature’s symphony.
Disney's Fort Wilderness Campsites
You may bring your own equipment or rent tents for campsites amid acres of cypress and pine woods and lush greenery, next to a sparkling lake. Recreation includes swimming pools and sand beach, fitness and horse trails, boat and bicycle rentals, fishing, hay rides, camp fires and sing-alongs under the stars. Two trading post-themed shops provide grocery service and a variety of merchandise. The rousing Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue dinner show and other dining options are located in Pioneer Hall.
